In a stunning development that's set social media abuzz, veteran Tollywood star Nandamuri Balakrishna, popularly known as Balayya, has reportedly signed on for a crucial extended cameo in the much-awaited sequel, ‘Jailer 2’, starring Superstar Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
Sources close to the project reveal that Balayya has demanded a staggering remuneration of ₹50 Crores, a figure that the production team has readily agreed to, acknowledging his larger-than-life screen presence and cult following in the Telugu states. The actor has allocated just 20 days for the film’s shoot, indicating a power-packed and intense appearance that is expected to leave a strong impact on the narrative.
Balayya’s role, while limited in screen time, is said to be pivotal to the film's story arc, and will reportedly feature high-octane action sequences and powerful dialogues — elements synonymous with his on-screen persona.
‘Jailer 2’ is already riding high on expectations after the blockbuster success of its predecessor. With Rajinikanth returning to the lead role and Anirudh Ravichander handling the music, fans are expecting a mass entertainer loaded with thrills, emotion, and style.
The combination of two Southern cinema giants — Rajinikanth and Balayya — under Nelson’s directorial vision has sent fans into a frenzy, making ‘Jailer 2’ one of the most anticipated Indian films in production right now.
